Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 14-bed Emergency Department with a 1:3–4 patient ratio
- Perform and assist with procedures including central line insertion, chest tubes, thoracic lavage, and intubations
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate effectively with charge nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary staff during night shift operations
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with strong communication and customer service skills
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications required
- Independent, self-motivated, and team-oriented professional demeanor
- Compliance with unit dress code: maroon/wine/burgundy scrubs required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification
- Intraosseous (IO) training or experience
- 2 or more years of Emergency Department nursing experience
