Licensed Practical Nurse – Long Term Care

Contract | Mid Shift | 6-Week Assignment | Monday through Sunday (No Block Schedules)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a long-term care setting in accordance with facility policies and care standards
• Work a minimum of every other weekend and/or adjust schedule to meet unit and patient care needs
• Cover CNA duties as needed in addition to standard LPN responsibilities
• Administer IV therapy as applicable to scope of practice and facility protocols
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient care activities

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN license (must be on file at time of submission)
• Minimum of 1 year of LPN experience
• Long-term care experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification
• 7-year background check, FACIS Level 3, and NY State background check must be on file at time of submission
• Complete work history required, including bed count, EMR system, and facility type for all positions

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with IV therapy administration
• Familiarity with long-term acute care (LTAC) or skilled nursing facility environments
• Any additional certifications beyond BLS are a plus
