Contract | Onsite | Rotating Day/Night Shifts (3x12-Hour Shifts) | Day: 7:00am–7:30pm / Night: 7:00pm–7:30am

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with potential float coverage to additional units serving the same patient population
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry findings
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Participate in rotating holiday coverage as required by facility scheduling needs
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing; travel experience accepted toward recent experience requirement
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the applicable specialty from an assignment worked in the past 12 months

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of permanent experience obtained within a single facility location
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry setting
