Key Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with the development of daily living skills and life activities, fostering an environment of learning, growth, and independence
• Support individuals in identifying and working toward personal goals to help them live as independently as possible
• Monitor the comfort, safety, and wellbeing of those served, ensuring medical, nutritional, and personal care needs are met
• Provide emotional support while assisting with general housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry duties
• Administer medications in accordance with certification requirements and established protocols

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid Medication Aide Certification in good standing
• Valid U.S. driver's license where applicable
• Ability to perform frequent physical activity including extended periods of standing, walking, and bending
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds independently, push/pull up to 40 pounds of force, and safely transfer up to 50 pounds

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) or in a similar caregiving role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
• Demonstrated commitment to inclusion and person-centered care
