Travel RN – Inpatient Rehabilitation (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, primarily weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient nursing care to rehabilitation patients across all four connected units of an 80-bed acute rehabilitation hospital
• Manage and monitor patients with conditions including stroke, traumatic brain injury, amputation, and other post-acute rehabilitation diagnoses
• Operate and oversee unit equipment including IV pumps, specialty beds, feeding pumps, lifts, transfer equipment, and life vests
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Collaborate with CNAs, unit secretaries, and interdisciplinary rehabilitation team members to deliver patient-centered care
• Support patient and family education in alignment with individualized rehabilitation goals

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience in med-surge or rehabilitation nursing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior inpatient rehabilitation nursing experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Meditech or similar electronic health record systems
• Experience in a CARF- or Joint Commission-accredited facility
