Contract | Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts, 19:00–07:30) | Onsite | 16-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a mixed-acuity PCU and Medical-Surgical Surgical Oncology unit
• Manage patients with surgical oncology diagnoses including hepatobiliary, colorectal, plastics/reconstructive, and melanoma cases
• Administer and monitor chemotherapy, blood transfusions, IV antibiotics, insulin drips, and heparin drips
• Recognize and respond to oncologic emergencies including cytokine release syndrome
• Maintain a strong focus on infection prevention protocols and patient fall prevention
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed based on departmental staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license) required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required
• Ability to work nights and accept variable scheduling including days, nights, or rotating combinations based on unit needs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ONS Chemotherapy certification preferred
• Prior experience in a PCU, stepdown, or surgical oncology setting strongly preferred
