Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within an endoscopy/GI unit, ensuring safe and effective nursing practice throughout all phases of endoscopic procedures
- Assist physicians and clinical staff during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures
- Monitor and assess patient condition before, during, and after procedures, responding promptly to changes in patient status
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care activities in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and promote positive outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida or compact licensure eligibility
- Minimum of 2 years of endoscopy/GI nursing experience
- Current BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required per facility standards
- Ability to work a Monday–Friday schedule, 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an endoscopy or GI setting
- Familiarity with high-volume, multi-campus hospital environments
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) documentation systems
