Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective speech-language pathology and dysphagia services across multiple points of care
• Perform evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans addressing communication and swallowing needs
• Deliver education to patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment goals and progress
• Treat adult patients across acute and outpatient settings with a wide variety of diagnoses
• Evaluate and treat difficulties related to speech sounds, language, voice, swallowing, and cognition
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to promote teamwork

Required Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Oregon Speech-Language Pathology license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, or active participation in a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
• Ability to travel to multiple points of care

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in both acute care and outpatient rehabilitation settings
• Background in dysphagia management and cognitive-communication treatment
