Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-acuity respiratory therapy services within NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings, with a focus on pediatric patients
- Deliver care at a Level 4 NICU/PICU standard, managing complex and critically ill pediatric populations
- Float to additional affiliated pediatric and neonatal units as operationally required
- Maintain compliance with all facility onboarding requirements, including fingerprinting, drug screening, and annual competency modules
- Adhere to scheduling commitments and communicate all time-off requests at time of submission and during interview
Required Qualifications
- Active Ohio Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license – must be in hand at time of submission
- Active NBRC certification – must be in hand at time of submission
- Active BLS certification
- Active Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Active PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatrics, PICU, and/or NICU (Level 4 high-acuity care)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working across multiple pediatric subspecialty units including CVICU
- Demonstrated ability to float between neonatal and pediatric care environments
- Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty, from assignments worked within the past 12 months
