Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 3x12-Hour Rotating Day/Night Shifts (36 hours per week) | Onsite | Weekdays and some weekends required | Rotating holidays required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a lower acuity Progressive Care/Cardiac unit
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and document care accurately
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care plans
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
• Float to units of similar or lower acuity within the organization as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of PCU/Progressive Care experience
• Valid RN license (compact or state license required at time of submission)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and conscious sedation
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cardiac nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:3–4 in a progressive care setting
