Registered Nurse – Med/Surg & Emergency Room

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a combined Med/Surg and Emergency Room setting
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:5 in accordance with facility standards
• Deliver post-operative care with an emphasis on Spine/Ortho patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Adhere to all facility policies including holiday coverage requirements

Required Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Colorado RN license required
• Active ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required (must be current)
• Spine/Ortho post-operative patient care experience required
• Strong Med/Surg background with emphasis in that specialty
• COVID vaccination required per state mandate
• Must be available to work holidays – no holiday time-off requests will be accommodated

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a combined Med/Surg and Emergency Room environment
• Experience working in a rural or critical access hospital setting
