Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | 36 Guaranteed Hours | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to Medical Surgical and Oncology patients in an acute care hospital setting
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:5–6 while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
- Document all patient care activities accurately using EPIC electronic health record system
- Work every other weekend (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday rotation depending on scheduling needs)
- Float within service line as needed to meet facility staffing requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (MO or compact license required; IL license must be in hand at time of submittal)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Current BLS (BCLS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Fire Safety certification
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system (required for this unit)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in Medical Surgical and/or Oncology patient populations
- ACLS certification (required prior to compliance deadline for this location)
- Experience working in an acute care hospital environment
