Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for patients across all age groups (pediatric through geriatric)
• Advocate for and provide direct patient care throughout the peri-operative period, from admission through discharge from PeriOperative Services
• Fulfill the circulator role during surgical procedures including orthopedic, general surgery, GYN, and endoscopy cases
• Provide call coverage in addition to regularly scheduled shifts as required by the department

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Experience in a perioperative or operating room nursing setting
• Demonstrated ability to care for patients across all age groups including pediatric and geriatric populations
• Ability to fulfill on-call responsibilities as scheduled

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in orthopedic, general surgery, GYN, and/or endoscopy procedures
• Prior circulator experience in a surgical services environment
• Familiarity with peri-operative standards of care and patient advocacy practices
