Contract | Rotating Day/Night Shifts (3x12-Hour Shifts) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit setting
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Care for patients requiring telemetry monitoring, and potentially manage patients on ventilators
• Float to additional units as operationally required to care for the same patient population
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
• Work rotating day and night shifts, including every other holiday as required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry specialty
• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (travel experience accepted)
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of experience within a single facility location preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry setting
• Familiarity with ventilator management and care for ventilated patients
