Contract | Days | 13-Week Assignment | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide med/surg level nursing care to patients 18 years of age and older
- Operate within a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio on a 50-bed medical unit
- Utilize unit equipment including Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes
- Work various shift lengths and days as required; flexibility is essential
- Float to surgical, pediatric, or transitional care units as needed
- Complete department-specific training and orientation during the first week of assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active State of Hawaii RN license required by assignment start date
- Minimum 2 years of med/surg or higher level of care experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to work flexible schedules including variable shift lengths and days
- Professional nursing attire and closed-toe shoes required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
