Radiology/Cardiology Tech – Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer (OB/GYN Focus)

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 8-Hour Days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM), Monday – Friday | 40 Hours Per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Perform perinatal ultrasound scanning for high-risk pregnancies, including Level 2 detailed fetal anatomical surveys, early anatomies, growth scans, biophysical profiles (BPP), and nuchal translucency (NT) measurements
- Conduct OB/GYN ultrasound procedures across all trimesters, including amniotic fluid index assessments and placenta previa evaluations
- Perform MCA and UA Doppler studies as well as fetal echocardiography
- Execute general ultrasound imaging including abdominal aorta and appendix studies
- Perform neonatal head and heart imaging as required
- Document and manage imaging using EPIC electronic health records and Viewpoint systems
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of sonography experience required; first-time travelers must have more than 2 years of experience to be considered
- ARDMS OB/GYN certification required
- BLS certification required
- Demonstrated experience in high-risk OB and obstetrics settings
- Proficiency with GE ultrasound equipment required
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records required
- NC state license or Compact license required (pending status acceptable for submission)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with portable ultrasound studies and additional general ultrasound skills including liver, pancreas, spleen, and pediatric abdomen/pelvis
- Experience with renal/pelvic imaging including bladder, ovaries, uterus, renal/bladder, and vaginal studies
- Small parts imaging experience including breast ultrasound, thyroid, testicles/scrotum, and superficial masses
- Experience with procedures such as amniocentesis and breast cyst aspiration
