Key Responsibilities
- Provide Phase 1 and Phase 2 post-anesthesia recovery care in accordance with ASPAN guidelines
- Deliver competent, safe nursing care to both pediatric and adult PACU patients
- Maintain a 1:2 patient ratio while utilizing bedside monitors and stretchers
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, CRNAs, and patient care technicians
- Fulfill on-call requirements of approximately 32 hours per month as needed
- Document patient care accurately using the facility's EMR system (Meditech)
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience
- Demonstrated competency in both pediatric and adult PACU care
- Ability to function independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Dedicated PACU nursing experience
