Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Days, 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Weekdays and Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Perform triage assessments and initiate appropriate interventions
• Establish and maintain IV access for patients as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely and effective emergency care
• Document patient assessments, care provided, and outcomes accurately in accordance with facility standards
• Adhere to all facility protocols including holiday and weekend rotation requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active West Virginia RN License
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Proficiency in IV insertion, triage, and emergency trauma care
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Must wear burgundy scrubs per facility dress code

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 5 or more years of Emergency Department experience
• Experience in a small Emergency Department setting
• Certifications in CPI, MAB, NRP, or TNCC
