Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 17-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Perform general nursing and med-surg procedures as applicable to the rehabilitation setting
• Collaborate with charge nurses, fellow RNs, and patient care technicians across night shift operations
• Utilize lifting equipment and other unit-specific tools to ensure safe patient handling
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic medical records system
• Float to med-surg as needed and participate in alternating weekend coverage

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or compact licensure eligibility
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency in general nursing skills applicable to a med-surg or rehabilitation environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records system
