Pediatric Inpatient/Outpatient Physical Therapist

Schedule / Job Type
Contract (13-Week Assignment) | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (5x8 Hours, 8:00–17:00) | Some weekends required (approximately 1–2 weekend shifts per month)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment services to pediatric inpatient and outpatient populations
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions within an acute hospital setting
- Document patient progress and clinical findings using Epic electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans
- Participate in weekend coverage shifts as required by the facility schedule
- Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays as outlined by facility requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Alaska Physical Therapist (PT) license in hand at time of submission
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience; first-time travelers accepted with a minimum of 2 years of experience
- Demonstrated pediatric physical therapy experience
- Candidate's permanent address must be located at least 50 miles from the facility
- Must be able to commit to all requested time off being submitted upfront at the time of submittal
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in an acute hospital or Magnet-designated facility
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
- Experience working in a Level II Trauma center environment
