Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift, Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–4:00 PM | 40 Hours/Week | 72 Hours Guaranteed Biweekly
Key Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations in accordance with established protocols
- Conduct mammography-guided procedures including upright stereotactic biopsy and prone table biopsy
- Perform breast ultrasound imaging using facility equipment
- Operate and maintain mammography and breast ultrasound equipment including Hologic and Philips/GE systems
- Manage and archive imaging studies using PACS and document within EMR systems
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and escalating to supervisory staff as appropriate
Required Qualifications
- Active ARRT certification in Mammography
- Massachusetts Mammography State Certification required
- ARRT or ARDMS certification in Breast Ultrasound or Breast Sonography required
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Minimum 3–5 years of diagnostic breast imaging experience in an imaging center setting
- Minimum 1 year of experience with McKesson PACS and Epic EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with upright stereotactic biopsy and prone table biopsy procedures
- Familiarity with Hologic Selenia Dimensions, Hologic 3Dimensions, Hologic Affirm systems, Philips IU22, and GE Pristina equipment
