CT Technologist (Radiology/Cardiology)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (Friday–Sunday, 6:00 PM–6:30 AM) | On-Call Rotation Required (Monday–Thursday, 5:00 PM–6:00 AM, approximately every 4–5 weeks)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations in accordance with established protocols on patient populations ranging from newborn through geriatrics for physician interpretation
• Conduct inpatient, outpatient (Fridays only), emergency room, and scheduled interventional cases (Fridays only)
• Start IVs and administer contrast agents as required per procedure protocols
• Assist with CT-guided biopsies as needed
• Utilize PACS system for image management and documentation
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide coverage during call-outs or high-volume trauma situations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology required
• Active ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required — must be in hand at time of start
• Active South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) registration in CT required — must be in hand at time of start
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
• Radiation badge required — must be provided by agency prior to assignment start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• Prior experience in a Level III Trauma or Acute Care Hospital setting preferred
• Familiarity with interventional CT procedures and contrast administration preferred
