Travel RN – Medical ICU (Nights)

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical ICU setting, with assignments determined by patient acuity and nurse skill set
• Operate and manage ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage dialysis machines, Arctic Sun temperature management systems, and GE Cardiac Output monitors
• Assist with and support bedside procedures including central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, and intubations
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Float to other units as needed per facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Texas RN license (temporary licenses are not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of hospital RN experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Prior MICU or MSICU patient care experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech electronic health records documentation system
• CCRN certification preferred
