Pediatric Cath Lab Radiology Technologist

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (5x8 Hours, 7:00–15:30) | Onsite | On-call required (approximately 8–10 call shifts per month, including weekend coverage)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric and adult cardiac catheterization procedures including transplant right/left heart biopsy, balloon, stent, and valve placement
• Assist with electrophysiology (EP) procedures within a 2-room Cath Lab environment
• Support interventional radiology (IR) cases, preferably pediatric, as needed
• Participate in on-call rotations including evenings and weekends to ensure adequate lab coverage
• Maintain accurate procedural documentation using EPIC electronic health records
• Comply with all radiation safety protocols, including use of a provided radiation monitoring badge

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• CCI certification with RCIS or RCES, OR ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) credential
• Radiation badge required (must be provided by placing agency)
• Ability to fulfill on-call obligations including weekend shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab setting
• Electrophysiology (EP) procedural experience
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
