Travel Registered Nurse – Orthopedic (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: July 20, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 44-bed Orthopedic unit, maintaining a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 (max 1:6)
• Manage and monitor patients with chest tubes, Hemavac drains, wound vacs, JP drains, PCA pumps, and Foley catheters
• Perform drain removals and coordinate PICC line placements with the Infusion team
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including PCTs and charge nurses to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital Orthopedic experience
• Minimum of 2 years of overall RN experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Orthopedic and/or Trauma background strongly preferred
• Medical/Surgical experience is acceptable and welcomed
• Positive, flexible, and collaborative personality with strong teamwork skills
