Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: September 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on an Orthopedic/Spine unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Care for patients undergoing joint replacements, fracture repairs, and spinal injury treatment
- Maintain patient ratios of approximately 1:5 on both day and night shifts
- Collaborate with CNAs and interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, compassionate care
- Document patient assessments and care using Meditech EMR
- Demonstrate flexibility to float between units as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care Med/Surg or Orthopedic hospital experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Chemotherapy certification (eligible for scheduling on Oncology unit)
- Experience caring for patients with both acute and chronic medical conditions
