Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and reassessments per policy or as warranted by patient condition, demonstrating sound independent clinical decision-making.
• Initiate, prioritize, and implement individualized plans of care; review and revise plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions.
• Facilitate, coordinate, and evaluate patient and family education related to care, treatment, and discharge needs.
• Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel; serve as a mentor and preceptor to staff.
• Participate in quality, safety, and service improvement efforts; comply with regulatory standards and contribute to the Practice Governance model.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN).
• Minimum of two (2) years of acute care RN experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current NIHSS certification.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an IMC, PCU, or Step-Down unit setting.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice frameworks and practice governance models.
