Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room – Travel Contract

Contract (Travel) | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Projected Start: September 28, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in a variety of elective surgical cases including Orthopedic, Spine, General, Cardiovascular, Plastics, GYN, Robotics, and Urology procedures
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio within a 23-OR main operating room environment
• Operate and manage OR-specific equipment in accordance with unit policies and standards
• Utilize Meditech and CPN electronic medical record systems for documentation
• Adhere to a 30-minute response time for on-call obligations, including potential second call on some weekends and first call coverage for 1–2 shifts
• Collaborate within a teamwork-focused environment prioritizing patient care and safety

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of current acute care CST experience in a hospital setting
• Active NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) Certification required
• Active DORA (Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies) Certification required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability and willingness to take on-call shifts as required by unit guidelines

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Orthopedic and/or Spine surgical procedures
• Experience in Cardiovascular (CV) surgical procedures
• Flexible, adaptable personality with a strong focus on patient care
