Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Days 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
• Administer medications and treatments per appropriate protocol; monitor for side effects and effectiveness of prescribed treatments
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with scope of practice
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately and thoroughly
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers; identify issues and available resources
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed to manage clinical situations effectively

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in state of employment or valid compact license
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Medical/Surgical nursing setting
• Ability to maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5–6
• Willingness to float to all Med/Surg departments as needed
• Availability for weekend and on-call shifts on a rotating basis (approximately 2–4 shifts per month each)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Experience working with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical/Surgical setting
