Contract | Travel | Days | 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to patients in the PACU / Recovery Room setting
- Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia, identifying and responding to changes in condition
- Administer medications and interventions as ordered, ensuring patient safety and comfort during the recovery phase
- Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and progress in accordance with facility protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of PACU or post-anesthesia care nursing experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Ability to fulfill a 13-week travel contract commitment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume or acute care hospital environment
- ACLS certification preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience is a plus
