Contract | Nights | Four 10-hour shifts per week, Sunday–Wednesday, 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM | Weekend availability on an as-needed basis required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging including abdominal, gynecological, and vascular studies
- Conduct breast ultrasound examinations and assist with breast biopsies
- Operate and document within an Epic electronic medical records system
- Work within a large, high-volume trauma facility supporting a multi-site campus
- Participate in bi-weekly Monday orientations as required by the facility
- Maintain complete and accurate work history documentation including bed count, EMR, and facility type details
Required Qualifications
- ARDMS certification in Abdomen, Gynecology, and Vascular
- Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound technologist experience
- Experience in a breast care center setting, including performing breast biopsies
- Prior experience in a large teaching hospital environment
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (required and non-negotiable)
- Reliable personal or rental transportation is strongly recommended; public transportation is not accessible in this area
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with multi-site hospital campus workflows
- Experience working night shift schedules in a high-acuity or trauma-level facility
- Vehicle equipped with all-season or snow tires (recommended for November through April)
