Contract | Days | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite | Every other weekend required | Holidays as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Telemetry unit setting during 12-hour day shifts
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
- Participate in holiday coverage as assigned, including Labor Day
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Minimum of 3 years of Telemetry nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 3 or more years of Telemetry-specific nursing experience
- Demonstrated ability to float to multiple units within an acute care environment
