Contract | 13 Weeks | Rotating Days and Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts) | 7:00–19:00 / 19:00–7:00 | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Level 3 NICU setting, maintaining a high standard of clinical practice for neonatal patients
• Work a rotating day and night schedule with full weekend availability as needed
• Float to satellite NICU locations as required; mileage reimbursement from home location is provided for float assignments
• Complete up to 10 hours of non-billable pre-start modules prior to orientation
• Work 2 of the following 3 holidays (including Eves): Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN license (or confirmed ETA for licensure posting required at time of submission)
• Minimum 3 years of NICU Level 3 or higher experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
• Experience working in a children's hospital or dedicated pediatric care environment
• Familiarity with floating to satellite or sister facilities within a health system
