Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

South Hill, VA
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services within the Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit during night shift hours
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records system
- Float within scope of practice to other units as needed based on facility demands
- Complete all required facility orientation modules within the designated orientation week timeframe
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required — no exceptions
- Active Virginia RRT license or compact state license required at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Epic electronic health records charting experience required — no exceptions
- 2 professional references required at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in Neuro Diagnostics or a related specialty area
- BSN or advanced clinical education background preferred
