Contract | Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite | 6 Weekend Days per Contract | Must commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide postpartum care to patients following delivery, managing a standard caseload of 4 couplets with the potential for census surge assignments
• Care for high-risk obstetric patients including those requiring Magnesium and Pitocin administration, Foley catheter management, and postpartum hemorrhage response
• Monitor and manage patients experiencing substance withdrawal in the postpartum setting
• Perform and document care accurately using the EPIC electronic health records system
• Float to nearby sister facility campuses for postpartum coverage and Labor & Delivery second-hour recovery as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of postpartum nursing experience with high-acuity patient populations
• Active and valid RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Demonstrated experience with high-risk obstetric care, including Magnesium administration and postpartum hemorrhage management
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system (hard stop requirement)
• Willingness and ability to float to sister facility campuses as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with JADA system for postpartum hemorrhage management
• Prior experience in a large-volume, high-census obstetric unit with a diverse patient population
