Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Operate and monitor equipment including IV pumps, cardiac monitors, ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and portable EKG machines
- Perform procedures including IV placement, blood draws, NIH stroke scale assessments, moderate sedation, TNK administration, and cardiac monitoring
- Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, paramedics, and LVNs across day shift operations
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Current TNCC certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification
- Demonstrated compassion and empathy in a fast-paced emergency care environment
- Strong team-player mentality with ability to adapt to a busy, collaborative unit
