Contract | Travel | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | 26-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Oncology/Women's Surgical unit maintaining a 1:4 or 1:5 patient ratio
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, CNAs, and HUCs across day shift operations
- Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Assist with or support procedures performed on the unit including thoracentesis and echocardiograms
- Participate in occasional weekend shifts as required per scheduling guidelines
- Float to other med-surgical units on a rare, as-needed basis
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Proficiency with standard unit equipment and clinical procedures relevant to oncology care
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Chemotherapy certification
- Prior experience in an oncology or women's surgical nursing environment
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR
