CVOR Surgical Technologist

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub all cardiac surgical procedures in the cardiovascular operating room
- Maintain a 1:1 ratio with the surgical team throughout procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation, including approximately one on-call shift per week and one on-call weekend per six-week schedule
- Document and chart accurately using Epic EMR
- Adhere to facility protocols, compliance requirements, and scheduling commitments including assigned holidays
Required Qualifications
- Valid Washington State surgical technologist license — must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of CVOR scrub technologist experience
- Demonstrated ability to scrub all cardiac procedures independently
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Must be willing to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Level II Trauma Center or large acute care hospital setting
- Familiarity with high-volume cardiovascular surgical environments
