Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Contract | Nights (4x12 Hours, 19:00–07:00) | Onsite | Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/Progressive Care/Stepdown unit setting
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes in patient status
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions within scope of practice
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Float to other units within scope of practice as needed per facility policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support optimal patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active or pending Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia (must be in hand by the Wednesday prior to start date)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Demonstrated experience in Epic electronic health records
• Ability to adhere to facility float policy within scope of practice
• Nursys verification required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Prior experience in an IMC, PCU, or Stepdown unit setting
• Travel nursing experience with familiarity of compliance and onboarding processes
