Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Weekend and Holiday Rotation | No Call | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-level nursing care in a high-acuity PCU environment, including management of multiple long-term patients at a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor, manage, and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias
• Perform peripheral line care and management, including PICC line management
• Titrate IV drips as ordered and within scope of practice
• Float to other system campuses as needed to support staffing requirements
• Complete unit-based orientation modules as assigned during the onboarding period

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; first-time travelers are welcome
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Cardiac telemetry experience required, including management and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Experience working at PCU nurse-to-patient ratios (1:5) required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (two attempts allowed)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred and required for compliance
• Experience with PICC line management and IV drip titration in a stepdown or PCU setting
