Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Weekdays, every other weekend, and holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care on a Level 2 Labor & Delivery unit serving patients at 32 weeks gestation and above
- Triage obstetric patients and assess clinical needs upon arrival
- Circulate cesarean sections in collaboration with the surgical and obstetric team
- Manage labor and delivery collaboratively with physicians and midwives
- Complete patient recovery following both vaginal and cesarean deliveries
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 5 or more years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
