Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) setting
• Float to all three ICUs and emergency department for holds as needed
• Monitor and respond to changes in critically ill patients' conditions throughout the night shift
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation
• Maintain compliance with annual hands-on competency and facility-required modules

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent ICU/Critical Care experience required
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license must be in hand at time of submission — no pending licenses accepted
• Active AHA BLS certification required — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active ACLS certification required — must be in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the ICU specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required for submission (Charge RN references accepted)
• Local candidates are welcome and will be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIHSS certification preferred
• Experience floating across multiple ICU environments
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition and electronic medication safety platforms
