Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/IMC/PCU setting with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Rotate shifts including every other weekend and holidays as required
- Float within scope to like units or sister facilities as needed, consistent with expectations for staff nurses
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Participate in emergency response teams as assigned during hurricane season (June–November)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Stepdown, IMC, or PCU setting
- Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; no local candidates accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred, though first-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
