Contract | 3rd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 5x8-Hour Shifts | Note: Travelers will be expected to work 1st shift (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM) during the first three weeks of orientation to become familiar with the unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely and efficiently throughout the facility
• Clean and turn over surgical rooms between procedures
• Lift and move heavy items as required by daily operations
• Support surgical services staff in maintaining a safe and organized environment
• Complete required assessments during orientation, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
• High school diploma or GED required
• Active BLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Active and valid Ohio permanent license or compact license must be in hand at time of submission — no pending licenses accepted
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required (co-worker references will not be accepted)
• Candidates must be nicotine free (exceptions apply only to Nurses and CSTs) — a negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine/cotinine completed within the past 12 months is required and must be updated annually
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a surgical or procedural setting
• Experience with patient transport and room turnover in a clinical environment
• Familiarity with surgical services workflows and standards
