Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekdays and Weekends | Possible Extension

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5–7
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Cerner EMR
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and unit protocols
• Maintain consistent attendance and reliability throughout the contract duration

Required Qualifications

• Active West Virginia RN license or valid Compact RN license (pending license accepted at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility; candidates between 75–100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Former permanent employees must have a minimum 2-year gap from last permanent employment date before being eligible as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience is a plus but not required
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR modules
• Experience managing higher-acuity Medical Surgical patient populations
