Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays Scheduled as Needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients in a high-acuity, 18-bed Labor and Delivery unit
- Float as needed to Mother Antepartum Unit (MAU), Mother Baby Unit (MBU), and OB Step-Down (OBSC)
- Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
- Operate Triton and SurgiCount systems as required
- All RNs must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
- Complete unit-based orientation modules (non-billable, average 2–4 hours)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience (first-time travelers welcome)
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred
- Experience with high-acuity laboring patients
- Familiarity with Triton and SurgiCount systems
