Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM) | Call required 1–2 days per week (no weekends or weekend call)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an endoscopy unit with a 1:1 patient ratio across 2 procedure rooms
• Assist with and support GI procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, GI bleeds, and ERCP
• Operate and maintain GI equipment and scopes in accordance with unit protocols
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Fulfill on-call responsibilities 1–2 days per week as scheduled (excluding weekends)
• Collaborate with a small, focused team of RNs and technicians to ensure safe and efficient patient throughput

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact license eligibility)
• Minimum of 1 year of endoscopy nursing experience — candidates without endoscopy experience will not be considered
• Ability to fulfill on-call requirements as outlined in the schedule
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, procedure-based environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Familiarity with ERCP and advanced GI procedures
• Flexible, adaptable personality well-suited to a small, collaborative team setting
