Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3 Shifts per Week | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
- Float to all acute care units as needed
- Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
- Adhere to holiday scheduling requirements, working one holiday from designated groups (Thanksgiving Day or Day after Thanksgiving | Christmas Eve or Christmas Day | New Year's Eve or New Year's Day)
- Participate in facility orientation program, including on-site and virtual EPIC training
Required Qualifications
- Active Kansas RN License or Compact RN License required
- BLS Certification required
- Minimum of 18 months of experience in a hospital setting with Orthopedic & Spine experience
- Ability to float to all acute care units
- Must comply with nicotine-free facility policy
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with EPIC EMR
- Experience in a Telemetry or similar acute care specialty
- Familiarity with travel nursing scheduling expectations, including holiday and weekend requirements
