Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in a Labor and Delivery unit encompassing antepartum, labor/high-risk, and triage settings
• Perform Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) and High Risk Pregnancy monitoring
• Assist with and support care during C-sections and vaginal deliveries
• Float to postpartum as needed, including couplet care (maternal and newborn)
• Participate in newborn role during delivery when applicable
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid RN license (compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Required certifications: AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring or NCC EFM, ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP, and FHM
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at the standard rate (locals within 50 miles may be considered at an adjusted rate)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted at time of candidate submission; post-submission RTO may not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Ability to perform newborn role in the delivery room
• Experience with postpartum couplet care (maternal and newborn)
• Comfort floating between Labor and Delivery and postpartum units
