Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Chicago, IL | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type
Contract (12 Weeks) | Nights 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 36 Hours/Week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit setting during overnight shifts
- Float to other inpatient units as needed
- Adhere to weekend and holiday scheduling requirements as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN License
- Current CPR certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Current NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic EMR
- Comfort with floating to various inpatient units
- Experience in a high-acuity intensive care environment
